No special tools are required for installation and standard taps and drills are used for hole preparation
The inserts are screwed in by the installer's fingers, without the need of a pre-winder tool and keys tapped in to lock in place
Solid Inserts are ideal for relocating holes that have been drilled or tapped in the wrong location, to fill holes that are too large, or to salvage expensive castings.
Also used to bolster the strength of a weaker parent metal, like aluminum.
