For a fragrant rice dish, sauté 1/2 tsp. of curry powder in 1 TB. butter for 2 minutes, then add 1 cup rice, 2 cups water, and a dash of salt. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 18 minutes.
