Clopay 0122530 EZ-Set Torsion Tube Coupler for Garage Door Torsion Spring EZ Set

Clopay’s 0122530 Torsion Tube Coupler for residential garage doors using the EZ-Set torsion spring system. The tube coupler connects two hollow shafts firmly together to act as one torsion shaft with two #14 x 5/8“ sheet metal screws. Once coupled the two shafts hold the torsion springs in place and allow the cable drums to rotate together and raise/lower the door. This garage door torsion shaft coupler comes equipped with two holes where the hollow tube slides in. When it is attached to each shaft the holes are used as a guide to drill two pilot holes into the shafts for sheet metal screws.
