Common Uses

A bandage is commonly used to cover and protect wounds, cuts, scrapes, or abrasions and are essential first aid items used to support the healing process and protect injured areas.

Directions

1. Clean Your Hands:

Wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer to prevent infection.

2. Clean the Wound:

Gently clean the wound with mild soap and water. Pat it dry with a clean cloth or sterile gauze.

3. Choose the Right Bandage:

Select a bandage size and shape that fully covers the wound and extends beyond its edges.

4. Apply the Bandage:

Peel off the backing of the adhesive bandage.
Place the padded part over the wound, ensuring the adhesive does not stick to the wound itself.
Smooth down the edges to secure it in place.

5. Check the Fit:

Ensure the bandage is snug but not too tight to avoid restricting blood flow.

6. Monitor the Wound:

Check the bandage regularly. Replace it if it becomes wet, dirty, or loose.
Change the bandage daily or as needed.

7.Remove the Bandage:

Carefully peel back the adhesive edges and slowly remove the bandage to avoid reopening the wound.
