And Allowed To Slowly Cool In A

Closed Oven To Room Temperature

It is my experience that 2 coats is

the ideal amount of seasoning for

cast iron reselling. 2 coats does a

wonderful job of protecting the

newly reseasoned iron until it reaches

it's new home. It also gives a good

base to make it ready for light use and

also perfect to allow the user's preferred

coating choices. It also allows a thin

enough coating if the new owner

prefers to strip off without the tedious

process of having to do a full restoration.
