These cutting (plug) can be use for propagation.  Put the lemongrass in 2 inches of water in a cup of water and it will root.  You can then plant them in your garden.

Our Lemon grass Stalks are harvested and Primed The SAME Day before shipping, they are rooting (may or may not have roots yet) and will grow really fast. 95% of plug will sprout new leaves in 3-5 days and form roots in 5-10 days.

Ready to Plant. Lemongrass will grow 2- 5 feet and depending on the region. Thrives Full Sun & moist soil but will grow in normal soil & Partial Sun also.  Will die off at first Frost but will come back in Spring*. To Plant place entire Stalk 4-8 inches into  in moist soil leave only the sprout above soil.
Will survive winter outside in zone 9 or above. 8-7 you will have to cut plants close to the ground and cover with leaves or mulch and will come back in the spring. Zones 6 or less we recommend cutting them back and digging up the root ball and transfer into a pot and bring indoor for the winter.

Great Spice and Seasoning for cooking or use it for Tea.
