This is a magnificent 1950's/60's Venetian free form glass bowl  made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy.   These bowls are often found with red and gold labels which read "Vetro Artistico Veneziano. But can be washed of over time

In a stunning combination of orange and opaline white encased glass, With Aventurine inclusions,

Other bowls with the same style of mottled canes can be found with AVEM labels, For this reason, it is most likely that this range was made by the AVEM factory, for distribution through Vetro Artistico Veneziano
