The OEM Replacement Accessory is an essential part designed to prevent defrost ice jam and allow proper drainage from the evaporator coils. This accessory kit includes (1) Cooling Loop Retainer and (2) Y-Clips.

To install the accessory, the ice bin and ice maker would need to be removed. Once cleared of any ice, the metal clips should be installed on the cooling tub. These clips are positioned on each side, butted up against the base of the cooling tub. The plastic rectangle provided in the kit is then inserted just below the clips, aligning with the airflow port visible in that area.

By utilizing this OEM Replacement Accessory, you can effectively prevent the formation of ice jams and ensure proper drainage.
