This OEM Replacement Part is a spark electrode that ignites the gas burner to produce flame on Whirlpool gas ranges and cooktops. It replaces worn or damaged electrodes to restore proper burner ignition. The spark electrode works with the igniter to light the burner. If the igniter glows but the burner won't ignite, the electrode may need replacing.

To install, unplug the range and use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the burner. Detach the old electrode and attach the new part. Reinstall the burner when complete. No heat, insufficient heat, or failure to ignite are signs your spark electrode may need replacement. This spark electrode provides an exact fit for Whirlpool and Kitchen Aid brand models.
