This magnificent chandelier epitomizes the fashion for sumptuous and glittering furnishings made for the Aristocrats, during the later years of the eighteenth and early nineteenth century. Before the introduction of gas lighting, during the long dark nights, candlelight was essential, thus, we find that during this period countless numbers of chandeliers and other candle-lit lighting were introduced into the European Elite Society.  Because our lighting are made by a workforce that still relies on traditional working methods, each product is unique and carries with it the sensitivity of the artisan.
