This is a nice cast iron bench with an unusual and hard-to-find design. It has the cane-seat pattern used on early cast iron furniture, winged side pieces and a center back piece with a tree motif. The bench is red but was gold at some point, and may have another color under that one. The bench is in good shape and solid. The center back leg through-bolt mount chipped out and was repaired by using a larger washer—you don't notice and this doesn't affect the bench's strength or stability.
