When urine becomes saturated with d-mannose molecules, bacteria bind more readily and quickly to d-mannose molecules than to the wall of the urinary tract. METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION: 1 teaspoon powder 1-2 times a day. For urinary infections: For the first 3 days, take 1 teaspoon of the powder soaked in a glass of water every 4 hours (not necessary overnight). Then continue to take 1 teaspoonful of D-mannosine powder twice daily.
