This new old stock-testing Sylvania-made JAN 6W6WGB matched pair output tubes was tested on our Maxi Matcher 2 for shorts, gas and transconductance.  There were no shorts or gas. Transconductance measured:

Tube One:  40.9 milliamps / 2910 micromhos (Sylvania-made 5881 yet unbranded; 5881 etched on glass)
Tube Two:  39.4 / 3000 (Sylvania-made JAN 6L6WGB PhilipsECG-branding stenciled on base with codes 34167 8613 AHM; 6L6WGB etched on glass)

Tubes tested with 400 volts on the plates and a bias of -48 volts. New old stock US-made 6L6s typically test with plate current from the mid-teens to
mid 30s with transconductance from around 2200 micromhos.

Tubes have gray plates, a side halo getter, and they are tight on bases with no debris or rattling sounds. Closely matched electrically.  Sound tested in our Musical Paradise shop amp (see pics). A previous owner has done a wonderful job gluing on the guide pin to Tube Two (wish I knew which glue they used).
