This is a clean, very lightly used pre owned Mechanical Hackamore made from Stainless Steel and features a black rubber covered bicycle chain noseband and 9 inch long shanks. This hackamore has a special type of rubber covered bicycle chain noseband that works on pressure points on the face, nose, and chin. Like a bit, a hackamore can be gentle or harsh, depending on the hands of the rider. It is a myth that a bit is cruel and a hackamore is gentler. The included curb chain/strap works in a horse's curb groove and the flexible stainless leather covered noseband shapes to individual horse to sit on proper point of nose. This is an improved version of the most popular mechanical hackamore design ever made and is sought after by barrel racers and ropers due to it's control features.
