Even with all of these delightful vintage figurines, there's plenty of room to add additional miniatures if you want to further personalize this item. I don't know the age or history of this item--the blocks are relatively modern in appearance, and are likely mid-century or slightly more recent. The little figurines are delightful vintage treasures and probably together worth more than the asking price of this piece!
