LACALUT^® white & repair Zahncreme enthalt eine spezielle Wirkstoffkombination zur Pflege der Zahne. Phosphatverbindungen sorgen für eine weißere Farbe. Natriumfluorid zusammen mit Hydroxylapatit - dem Hauptbestandteil des Zahnschmelzes - unterstützt die Remineralisierung der Zahnoberflache. Der Zahn wird glatter und widerstandsfahiger. Das Problem von überempfindlichen Zahnen (Fachbegriff: Dentinhypersensibilitat) kommt durch erosive Angriffe durch Saure oder Storung der Remineralisationprozesse. Das Dentin wird freigelegt, die Dentinkanale liegen offen und somit entsteht ein direkter Kontakt der zum Schmerz führt.

Kaliumchlorid: Verbesserung der Nervenzellen
Wie dem Problem überempfindlicher Zahne begegnet werden kann, ist die direkte Ansprache des dentalen Nervensystems. Hierbei kommen Kaliumsalze (Kaliumchlorid) zur Anwendung, deren Anwesenheit in der Pulpa zu einer andauernden Depolarisation der Nervenzellen führen soll. Kaliumchlorid schützt und beruhigt indem es sich wie eine Schutzhülle um den Zahnnerv legt. Das Ergebnis ist, dass der Schmerzreiz nicht weitergeleitet werden kann und somit theoretisch Schmerzfreiheit besteht.
