Gotcha! For no reason that I can think of, I’m going to start my list with words beginning with the letter B.

Who knows where I may end up!

A3, B3, C3, E9, F4, H, I7, L2, N3, O3, P, R5

  • Yesterday it was cool. Hard to figure out what to wear. Sleeves to short sleeves. Heavy clothing to lighter clothing.
  • Today, the humidity will start.
  • Getting the gardens weeded. Most of it is done quickly since I got all the heavy duty weeding done the other week.
  • Hoping to get the wood stove moved to it’s new home.

My ‘B" list in coming along well. I’m really surprised by how many words start with the letter b.

sending my list now – all U’s

Bette the weather has been weird here too this summer – super hot one day and freezing the next. I refuse to – but have a friend who has his furnace running one day and the air conditioner the next.

Wet and rainy one month and then hot and dry the next. Never seen a summer like it.

Here late last night we didn’t have just ‘’some rain’’ we had a hard winds blowing, lots of lightening showing, heavy duty rainfall, & plenty of rolling thunder type of storm. . .in fact in the weather news this morning, many people had tornadic winds that uprooted HUGE trees, our umbrella table on the deck blew over, which never happened in a windy storm since we moved here, and we’ve had plenty of winds or windy storms, I was up late, couldn’t sleep and I heard those winds and they were so loud for a few seconds I thought about waking hubby and Leo and going down to the basement. . .

This week’s phrase is. . .

I actually have just a teeny tiny bit of this cat fabric in my stash. . .I think it’s from 2002? 2003? so I used a pic of it in the pic, above!

Have a GREAT Week, Dearies!

I know your expertise on this. I must say we should have an online discussion on this. Writing only comments will close the discussion straight away! And will restrict the benefits from this information.

I’m not quite sure I understand what it is you think we should discuss.

Could you elaborate on this at all?

Carolyn, Just ignore the discussion.
It’s his first post and from Vietnam.
Must of been on the wrong thread or ?

Hot and humid and I have been working on the new garden changes. More humidity today. I did manage to get the rototiller out and got it started. Woo-hoo! It’s been years since I used it.

I sent a note to the staff, asking that someone there address the problem. Just seems ridiculous that we have to deal with issues they are paid to deal with!

Good afternoon! Hot and breezy here. County fair is this week, lots of fun to see and do. And yummy fried spiral potatoes! Our fair is really nice and admission and general entertainment are free so it is really a great place to connect with friends from distant parts of the county. Doing two shifts at the first aid booth and did one shift at a hot air balloon festival this last weekend. School starts Monday so hopefully things will slow down.

Carolyn. . .There’s a link atop every post that states “Report this” and when you click on it a tiny window comes up that gives you pause to rethink about reporting a post & it states “Civil disagreements: OK. Dramatic and/or incendiary posts: NOT. Choose OK only if this is the latter.” Once you choose OK, then above the post it will state something like ‘’a dirty rotten scoundrel posted this’’

Dee, I sent a message directly to management. I thought it best to let them know that there is a deficiency in how problems of this sort are answered. I truly believe it is the responsibility of PAID employees to come up with a “How To Primer” for newbies.

You may or may not know that I live in the Catskill Mountains of New York.

You may or may not know that every ear, the village of Catskill (home of Rip Van Winkle, holds a summer-early fall festival of cats, called “Cat’n Around the Catskills.”

Local artists apply for the right to participate. They are given their choice of more than life size cats;
reclining or standing, and they are responsible for creatively decorating them.

This year, there are over 50 on exhibit.

The cats are displayed on the village sidewalks for about 4 months, and then auctioned off to benefit local worthy organizations.

Each year, we have a wonderful afternoon viewing the cats. Incredibly imaginative.

I know it’s much too far for most – or all – of you to travel, but I’m going to send you a link (in my next posting) so you can see the cats yourselves.

They do print a brochure that contains postage stamp sized pictures of each cat, with a map and the cat’s name.

I hope to be able to pick up a few to share with you.

Such fun!

Enjoy!

Fun Fun Fun!
I am exercising and hope to get a 500 word list sent.
Hope my day continues without interruption
or unnecessary trials or tribulations…lol

The bulldog is a familiar site in capitol of a county in Indiana. It is the high school mascot and they did amazing things with many many bulldogs around the city
The city was founded in 1834 and there are also several statues/figures portraying things of the day.

Carolyn, you know I’ve enjoyed the late summer/ early fall festival with you over the years. Fun even. Thanks again for sharing.

Off now to exercise me brain.

I don’t know, Bette, because I’m not having a problem. Wish I knew enough that I could help you – but I don’t.

Whenever you ask, they always say “clear out your cache.” That never helped me, though……

Bette…I didn’t read every post, here. . .but that happened to me quite a long time ago with my original Mac computer, only to have my Mac crash BIG time (that’s what I got for buying ’’used’’) Besides clearing your cache files there’s a place in Windows computers where you can make sure you can connect to a specific site, here’s a link to that type of trouble shooting-I don’t know if it’ll help or not:

Thank you Dee for that information.

I had done different troubleshooting to unplugging my modem and such.
Funny thing, it’s only trying to get to Bonanza.
All other sites it’s easy to get to.

I had that problem once a long time ago Bette… when I first installed add blocker – I had to manually go into the site and allow Bonz… could it be something like that?

I use both Foxfire and IE and hadn’t had a problem for some time. All of a sudden, problems. Yesterday, I couldn’t get on in the morning and in the evening, but the afternoon, it was okay.
No rhyme or reason.
